The Impact of "Overprotective" on Children, Parents Must Know

Protecting children is a normal thing for parents to do.

However, some parents apply it too much so that they become overprotective.
Instead of having a positive impact, overprotectiveness actually gives the opposite result, even disrupting children's development.

The impact of overprotectiveness on children
An overprotective attitude has the potential to disrupt a child's development.
"For example, a 1.5 year old child is practicing walking. If the child is too overprotective, he is not trained to walk, he is carried all the time so walking becomes late,"

Children are not independent and trusting
Overprotectiveness also has the potential to erode a child's self-confidence and make him less independent.

If parents want to protect their children without being overprotective

One of them is ensuring the development of children's skills, both academically at school, sports, arts and morals.
For moral values, for example, children can be trained to build cooperation and share with friends.
All so that children can communicate well and are free from bullying.
